State law mandates that charter school enrollment be governed by lottery. Children who are not selected can be placed on a waiting list. Children who live outside of Philadelphia can apply if every interested child in Philadelphia already has been accepted.

Applications for kindergarten enrollment for the 20010-2011 school year are due by November 30, 2009. The lottery will be held on December 7, 2009.
Applications for grades 1-8 are due by March 31, 2010 and the lottery will be held on April 5, 2010. Please note that the lottery for grades 1-8 will be held to draw a waiting list. We generally don't have openings in grades 1-8, but we draw a waiting list in case an opening occurs.
Please note that siblings and children of faculty and staff have preference at Wissahickon Charter School.
