Tuesday, April 22 Bring the family and create a mosaic masterpiece at Tesserae Mosaic Studio, 6780 Germantown Avenue, 5-8:30 p.m. $2.50/hour for studio time (this is a 50% discount for WCS families). Projects range from $5-$48. Bonus: Enjoy a delicious pizza from Fino’s Pizzeria, 6784 Germantown Avenue. 10% off for WCS folks.

Thursday, April 24 Take a hike at Rolling Hill Park in Gladwyne, 7 p.m. $2/family. See mill ruins and a babbling creek; share a story and snack with WCS guide Stephanie Parker. Directions: 76W toward King of Prussia; get off at Gladwyne exit. At bottom of ramp, take a right and go under railroad bridge; merge onto River Road. Take the first left & go back under the railroad bridge. Go right onto Rose Glen Road; follow until entrance to Rolling Hill Park on left. Entrance road dead-ends in a parking lot; we’ll meet there at 7 p.m. It’s about 15 minutes from WCS to Rolling Hill Park.

STORYTIME-relax and listen to stories read by the dynamic Halimah Abdul Haqq-Allen, educator at The House at Pooh Corner daycare/pre-school for nine years. (She’s also the mom of two WCS students.)
