Hi friends,

As another school year comes to a close, I'm reminded that there is something especially joyful about June at Wissahickon. It's a season of celebrations, milestones, and the excitement of watching our students take the next step in their journeys.

This year, we celebrated another remarkable class of eighth graders, with every graduate heading to a high school of choice this fall.* Their success reflects years of hard work, the unwavering support of their families, and the dedication of our incredible teachers and staff. We've included a photo album from our graduation ceremonies below, and I hope you'll enjoy sharing in these special moments with us.

This year also reminded us of the extraordinary community that surrounds Wissahickon. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, we once again met our annual fundraising goal, ensuring that we can continue providing the programs and opportunities that make a Wissahickon education so unique. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in our students.

As we look ahead, we are excited to celebrate Wissahickon Charter School's 25th anniversary during the coming school year. We look forward to honoring this milestone with the families, educators, alumni, supporters, and friends who have helped shape our community over the past quarter century.

*Philadelphia has an especially competitive high school selection process, with students vying for acceptance to a large list of special-admit and city-wide public schools, charter schools, and private schools, many with limited slots and demanding admissions criteria. At Wissahickon, we have two guidance counselors per campus to help every eighth grader create a list of their top-choice high schools and oversee their application process. This year, every WCS eighth grader was accepted to at least one of their top choices!
